Vladislav Delay “Tummaa” Review
Published by Nightlife Magazine. Written by LC.

Vladislav Delay offers immediate gratifi cation to lovers of crackling, dirty, industrial symphonies that juxtapose and confuse noise and beauty, music and environment. Like classical music, this is best for either deep listening or background ambience. There’s more than enough here to engage the ears and the emotions – even though this is most defi nitely machine music – but it’s also easy to use Tummaa as sonic wallpaper. Aquatic and bubbling, scratchy and crackling, lumbering and disjointed, yet flowing and hypnotic, Tummaa is a lovely, heady album that is easy to get inside if you’ve got a taste for experimental and ambient music.
